We will be camping above the Owhyee Dam this year at Lake Owhyee State Park. Volunteers should show by 7:00, Friday May 20th for dinner. There will be a short briefing after dinner to discussing the weekend's activities. Saturday we will take a 45 minuet boat ride up to Bensley flat and then hike into the guzzler. The hike into the guzzler will be difficult with a 1.5 mile hike gaining 1500 feet in elevation.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. You will need to bring good boots, gloves, day pack, canteen, camping gear, personal effects and be prepared for variable weather conditions. There will be some BIG tents available to sleep in. We have 6 camp sites reserved which will accommodate approximately 48 people. We will use two sites for the cook trailer etc. which leaves 4 additional RV sites.
